Well, it finally happened. I died on my HCIM.
What I did not expect was for all my progress to be completely removed from the high scores. That part is honestly deflating. The kind of deflating that makes me not even want to log back in.
In Old School RuneScape and RuneScape 3, when a Hardcore dies, their name and stats still remain. Losing everything entirely here feels rough.
I’ll be stepping away for a bit. Right now it just feels like all the time, money, and effort I put in was wiped away.
Is this intended? If it is, that really needs to be communicated more clearly. A big part of the appeal for me was climbing the high scores, and if I had known dying meant being removed entirely, I would not have chosen this game mode.
